The theatres on the German Route of the “European Route of Historic Theatres” are inviting you to take part in a new contest.
The rules are very simple:
Travel to the theatres on the German Route and keep the tickets.
These could be tickets for a performance or a guided tour or simply entrance tickets (when the theatre is also a museum).
Please note that each ticket must show the name of the theatre and the date of your visit.
When you have returned you send us the tickets you have collected at the theatres.

and you will receive one of the following prizes:

a theatre poster
or - a theater jig-saw puzzle (100 pieces) “Theater Putbus”
or - a paper toy theatre
For tickets from 6 different theatres on the German Route you will receive:
-
a book on the history of one of the twelve theatres on the German Route (text in German)
or - an audio book with the adaptation of the correspondence between Goethe and Schiller (“Glückliches Ereignis ... aus dem Briefwechsel Goethe & Schiller”) in a production of the Liebhabertheater at Kochberg Palace
or - the DVD “Don Giovanni”, opera by Mozart, a live recording of the Goethe Theatre production with Morten Frank Larsen as Don Giovanni
For tickets from 9 different theatres on the German Route you will receive:
- a box with 3 bottles of theatre wine from the Putbus Theatre: one bottle of red wine, white wine, and sparkling wine
plus - the book “Historic Theatres in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland” by Carsten Jung (text in German, 120 illus-trations) or another book, if you own this one already
For tickets from all 12 different theatres on the German Route you will receive:
- a week-end in Bayreuth for two people in a first-class hotel, i.e. two nights, plus tickets for a performance
To collect tickets from 3 different theatres on the German Route will not be difficult for you. For all 12 theatres you should calculate an interesting journey of about a week. Or you distribute your theatre visits and take only a few theatres at a time. Whatever way you chose – there is no time limit, no deadline. Send us your tickets in 2010 or keep collecting in 2011, just as you please and depending on the prize you want to claim.
